[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]It’s official! Today is the first day of Palm Springs Restaurant Week (#PSRW), an event that boasts hundreds of affordable meal selections from the valley’s finest restaurants. If you haven’t already decided where to go, check out our list of participating restaurants.
Restaurant Week is one of our favorite events in Palm Springs (as well as other Valley cities such as La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Bermuda Dunes). We plan to sneak away for a date night (or two…or three) this week to take advantage of the special priced meals for only $26-$38!
One of our favorite restaurants in Palm Desert is Mitch’s On El Paseo Prime Seafood, so naturally we did our research to get a sneak peak at their Restaurant Week menu. Here’s what we found:
Mitch’s $38 Restaurant Week Selection
Starters: Your choice of Crispy Pork Belly & Watermelon Salad, Alaskan Salmon Carpaccio, or Prosciutto Mozzarella Salad.
Entrée selection: Pan Seared Pork Tenderloin, Grilled Cobia, or Grilled Veal Chop.
Dessert: Finish the night with a decadent dessert choice of Tiramisu, Peach Cobbler, or Banana & Raspberry Neapolitan.
Check out the full Restaurant Week Menu Here.
Seriously folks, this is a steal of a deal at $38! Insider Tip: Don’t wait for an hour to be seated. Make a table reservation online by visiting their website here.
A few of our favorite selections at Mitch’s on El Paseo.
We think that Mitch’s is one of the best restaurants in Palm Desert. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is casual fine dining, and the service is topnotch.
When it’s not restaurant week, we enjoy visiting Mitch’s On El Paseo for their sushi selection. We usually start with an order of the Jalapeno Poppers (delicious!), and finish the night with an order of the 808 Sushi and Protein Sushi (descriptions below). You will not be disappointed.
JALAPENO POPPERS: Fresh Jalapeno Stuffed with Crab, Spicy Tuna & Cream Cheese. Lightly Tempura, drizzled with Kabayaki Sauce Spicy Aioli.
808: Shrimp Tempura, Snow Crab, Avocado, Cucumber rolled & topped with Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Flakes and Macadamia Nuts.
PROTEIN: Snow Crab, Spicy Tuna, Albacore, Shrimp, Spicy Scallops & Avocado Wrapped with Soy Paper, Topped with Ponzu Sauce – No Rice
