Life in the Coachella Valley can be pretty exciting during the holidays, and the 4th of July is no exception! From La Quinta to Palm Springs, we know how to have a great time. As you probably know, there are a couple of different options for the 4th of July Fireworks show. To help you pick out the best one, we’ve compared them below. Enjoy!

Free Fireworks

Palm Desert Civic Center Park

When:
Fireworks at 9p

Why You Should Go:
They’re going all out with fireworks, live music, and fun at the City of Palm Desert’s Independence Day Celebration. Bring picnic dinners, blankets, and chairs to enjoy the fireworks. Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase, both inside the park as well as at the Palm Desert Aquatic Center. This should not be missed!

Palm Springs –
Pool Party & Fireworks

Where:
Multiple Locations

When:
Events start at 11am and end after the firework show

Why You Should Go:
The city of Palm Springs has a great day planned for this Independence Day. Swimming, music, and of course, fireworks are just a few of the many things to enjoy in Palm Springs! The concession stand has hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, and anything else you might want. This is sure to be a great time!

Both firework shows are sure to be spectacular, so really it comes down to whether you’re a music fan or love pool parties.

Or if the location is the biggest factor for you, remember that Palm Desert is closest to Rancho Mirage, Bermuda Dunes, Indio, and Indian Wells. Whichever you choose have an amazing 4th of July!
