  6. Dispense several cups of water to purge the line and discard the water.
  7. Press and hold the water filter reset button for 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.

How to Replace Sub-Zero Push-In Water Filter

Here is how to replace Sub-Zero water filters for the push-in style:

  1. Pull out the bottom edge of the grille assembly and tilt the grille forward.
  2. Push the filter cartridge in then pull it out to remove.
  3. Remove the packaging from the new filter and take off the plastic cap.
  4. Line up the cartridge so the locking tabs can be inserted into the filter manifold.
  5. Push the filter in until you hear a click. Tug slightly on the filter cartridge to ensure it is securely in place.
  6. Press and hold the water filter reset button for 5 seconds to reset the filter indicator.
  7. Flush the filter using the process described in steps 5 and 6 above.
